Soccer

This is why you should be on the team where the coach's wife is a professional photographer.

Quality Education

Me: William, what did you learn about in school today?
William: Just the letter "B".
Me: What words start with "B"?
William: Butt
Me: Ok, what else?
William: Babe
Me: uh, huh
William: Bra
Me: How about Ball, Boy, or Bunny?
William: I guess.

Jud (after me telling him the story later): He didn't come up with Beer or Boob? I am disappointed.

First Soccer Game

William's first game was last night. He is number 9. He scored a few goals and had a great time. Score isn't kept (and there aren't any goalies).

Disney Random Pictures

I feel like a good blogger would have better documented her son's first trip to Disney. Sorry I am not a good blogger. I treat this website more like an online scrapbook, so instead of stories, here are some more pictures.
Our last day in the Magic Kingdom

Jud and William on the Goofy Roller Coaster in Toon Town (in Magic Kingdom)

This is Mom, Dad and Jud - William and my view from the Dumbo ride. The longest line we waited in the entire 6 days in the parks - 40 minutes.

William's Playroom

Toy Story Mania is the newest ride at Hollywood Studios. The ride is the most fun kids ride we have done so far (Tower of Terror is probably the best adult ride so far). These pictures are of us posing in various scenes from Toy Story. The bottom two pictures were taken at Downtown Disney our first night in town.

Jud and Dad, Movie Stars

Jud and Dad (Pappy) "volunteered" to be part of the stunt show at Hollywood Studios (previously MGM). Jud was the ship captain and Dad was the deck hand.

The second video is the finished product as shown on the TV monitors at the stunt show.

Family Shots

No, sorry not that kind of shots. Although that would make the blog a little more interesting. Here are a couple group photos of us.

Adventures in Disney

We are currently in Disney - on day 3 of a 6 day vacation. Our first night in Epcot we all stopped to "consult the map" (aka rest) on the edge of a fountain. "Mom, look at all the money!" I turned around to find William, head and arms soaked laying down on the edge of the fountain with a pile of pennies and nickels beside him.

Flashback to Goonies:
Stef : Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, stop, stop! You can't do this.
Data : Why?
Mikey : Why?
Stef : Because these are somebody else's wishes. They're somebody else's dreams.

So, in the land where Dreams Come True...I panicked, screamed and pushed the pile of coins back into the fountain. I scared William. Hey, you can't go messing with people's dreams.

War Eagle 7

William and I visited the Raptor Center yesterday and got to watch several of the birds fly, including Nova - who is War Eagle 7. Spirit (the Bald Eagle) flies during the games at the beginning of the season, so he wasn't there yesterday. William was very impressed with the owls since they can turn their heads all the way around backwards, and the falcon who caught the leather toy in mid-air.

Rock On!

Soccer

William started soccer practices last night! His team is sponsored by Auburn Dental Associates and the team name is "The Molars". Jerseys will be passed out next week, so I don't know what color or number he is yet. He had a great time at practice and is looking forward to a great season.
